One of those days...
It is again "One of those days"...when you really dont have that you think you will have. It is very disheartening and you feel so betrayed. I just used "Disappointing" so many times and it just seemed this is the only word left in my conversation with so many people. With the same people who promised that they are there for me and stand by me all the time...but NO...
But after some time i thought, why am i at all CRYING...does it matter in my long term goal. It just became the debate between "Long term goal vs. Short term desire". All of us want to be happy all the time. And we just see what makes us happy in next moment...and we want to fulfill our short term desire. It is not bad at all to have a short term desire and get it fulfilled and BE HAPPY. But, we just realise next moment that we don't have it. Ufff...it is so painful and unpleasant. Such agony.
Now, what to do. Stay in pain...and grouch about it. Is it really helpful or is it really going to pay. All of know the answer "NO". But again, how many of us accept and move ahead. Move to achieve the "Long term goal".
Yes, it may be true that "Long term goal" is pile of success of "Short term desire". At the same time, it is to be understood that one failure in "Short term desire" doesn't mean loss of your "Long term goal". There is always a learning in each success and failure. So have the courage to learn, leave and move.
In the end, never ever forget to SMILE. It makes your day and night. BELIEVE.
Cheers,
Chetna

The CHOICE
I said “I like a simple life”.
Reply was “It’s the corporate life, it happens.”
“Still I can HOPE for it. No one can take a hope away from me” was my immediate reply.
It is so true. Life gives us choices. It is the choice that we make every hour; every minute; every second of the day. It is the choice we make and the path we take that makes a difference in our life journey ahead.
Every human has an angel and a demon inside her/him. But again, it’s a choice what you want to be. It is only WE and only WE who make a choice. No one can force you what you don’t want to be.
So always take time and make a good choice for what you stand for. Speak up for your choice.
Cheers,
Chetna
PS:- DON’T FORGET TO SMILE and DON’T HURT OTHERS."

Don't call me "UNCLE"
In life you meet some peaple and you think "This kind of People EXIST, why don't they EXTICT".
Likewise i met one UNCLE, when i moved back to Bombay. As usual house hunting was an exhausting task in Mumbai. It took me weeks to find a flat. Finally, I took a flat through a broker without meeting the my owner named "Mr. Venkataramani". Now no home comes without a problem...then i called up my owner to tell him about this. And voila I called him "UNCLE". This is a normal way to address an elder person in Delhi. But i believe some people read English in a way that a word has to be used as it is given in an OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY. He didn't talk to me in a nice way and i was little surprised at his rude manner. The next day, my broker called me up and he told me that Mr. Venkataramani didn't like that i called him UNCLE. Also he asked me to address him as SIR. HUH!!! it was impossible. How can someone be so illogical. It was the very first time in my life when someone told me that he didn't like if he is addressed as an UNCLE. Then i thought of the advertisement of black dye and the word was repeated three times "Uncle Uncle Uncle..." . It became joke among my friends.
Now the day came when i was leaving the place(just after four months...thanks to my owner, my new roommate, that stupid society, maid, guards, etc. etc. - Thats another story). My father came to help me in shifting. We were waiting for the owner as he had to give us the check of my deposit. After waiting for so long, I called him up.....and again....as habitual I asked him "Uncle, when will you reach". To my surprise he asked me what did I say. Deliberately to avoid any argument with him I nicely told him that i asked when he will reach....and (hahahhaha) ...he asked "No, before that"..UFFFFFFF................I told him "UNCLE".....and again the story begins , the reply came "I am not your UNCLE". Ok ....totally agree with you, i needed my deposit money. I had no choice.
I wonder how can someone be so rude and inconsiderate.
In the end i wished GOD BLESS THIS UNCLE :)
The Formless
Since childhood, we work hard, study, take education etc. etc. to define our life in way we want it. But do we ever know where life takes us. We can be what we want to be, a software engineer, analyst, doctor...but is that it we want from life. What next...again you never know. It is intended to be what it is.
There a SITUATION come to your life...and we ponder - Is it really what I wanted in my life. Wake up early, have breakfast, go to office, meet people and smile who don't mean to you or you don't mean to them, work, work, work, come back, have dinner and SLEEP.....That's it. Where is that when we used to play, chat, laugh....
We run to catch FORM in our life but forget the FORMLESS - The Happiness and Enjoyment...
